•  Chronic illness or disability.
•  Children under the age of 12 in the home.
•  Senior citizens aged 55 and above.

You will not be able to receive utility assistance if you have received assistance in the past 2 years. 

 We can only assist with utility or rent assistance, not both.

• You will need the following documents:
• Identification for adults in the household
• Income for all adult's in the household
•  Birth certificate or Insurance card for children in the household
• Social Security Card for everyone in the household
• Proof of income for the past 2 months
• Proof of hardship
• Light bill  

Submitting an application without documents will result in a longer processing time. 

If your application is incomplete, you have 48 hours to turn in missing documents. After 48 hours your application will be denied. 

The application process can take 7-14 days from the time that a completed application is submitted.
